On Saturday, Brad and I raced the grassroots Arizona Endurance Series Prescott MonsterCross in Prescott, AZ. The race is 60 miles almost entirely on singletrack that circumnavigates the town of Prescott. Prescott is fast-becoming a premier mountain bike destination spurred by tons of trail work and the legendary Whiskey OffRoad race (coming up this weekend). This MonsterCross features a sample of all the riding areas and includes the best single-track in each area!
The video below shows the record of our ride with these statistics:
Distance: 61.60 mi (23.31 mi uphill, 25.02 mi downhill, 12.96 mi flat)
Climbing: 7193 ft total ascent (7235 ft descent) – 8.6 % uphill grade, 7.2 % downhill grade
Time: 10:26:40 total time (7:58:39 moving, 2:28:01 stopped)

Hummmmm…… Let’s see, “Climbing: 7193 ft total ascent (7235 ft descent)” on what appears to be a circuit course. Did you guys finish up below ground? ;O) In any case, my hat’s off to you guys!
And Frank sure looks lonely in that new banner photo.
