It’s been a busy 7 days of birthdays! First my brother, Ross, then BJ on St. Patty’s day, Sam, the amazing 4 year old (and son of Dan) quickly followed by Leroy. Updated: Happy 14th to my beautiful niece Brie too! Happy Birthday to everyone!
Birthday - West Texas Oasis!
Today was the last of the bunch. Tim and I celebrated his day with uncharacteristic lack of ceremony. After 2 weeks of parties, music and learning at SXSW, we were ready for a quieter night. Yesterday we drove to Balmorhea Springs,Texas from Austin and settled in for 2 days of biking and soaking in their million gallon hot spring.
Tonight we rang in Tim’s forty first year with blue cheese jalapeno bacon cheeseburgers, homemade french fries and chocolate genache pie. We even met some cool campground neighbors who shared pie and brought unexpected Margaritas. Now that is a party.
