A New Year

New Year's from the Tetons to Bozeman - On December 30th, we said goodbye to Jackson heading north...
First things first though, I needed to test out my new skis on Teton Pass. Santa brought me brand new Alpine Skis, AT Boots and bindings for Christmas and I wanted to be sure they all worked before we left town. The only problem is for them to work, I need to know how to Alpine Ski....which I don't. It was a crazy snowy day. Tricky conditions for a gear test, but everything held up and we had a blast. Is there such a thing as too much snow?

We weren't sure Jackie was going to make it out the snow filled Teton Pass parking lot. Our drive down the pass was the worse visibility Tim and I had seen for a very long time. We are out of practice.
After an awesome trip to see BJ, Lisa and Dylan, we drove to Bozeman for New Years. Mike Banville's neighbor had his own Griswold style Christmas.
There is nothing wrong with a little covert firework display to ring in the New Year.

We skied January 1 with Sid and Sam at Big Sky. We forgot to bring out the camera on the hill, so we REdressed up in the ski gear AFTER we got home. Happy New Year!
