We were back in Jackson Hole for Christmas 2018 and able to catch up with a lot of friends we hadn’t seen in quite a while. It’s also great to be back in the mountains with snow. Christmas Eve we cooked a prime rib at home with a few good friends. We spent Christmas morning relaxing, opening gifts and reminiscing on the year.
After avoiding winter for a few (5?) years now, it was time to upgrade the ski gear. Mary Lynn committed to Alpine Touring skis moving away from Telemark. So for Christmas we got her a complete new setup (photos below). She’s learning quite quickly and enjoying it much more than her old gear. Christmas Day brought some fresh snow so we took the new gear on a tour for some of the first powder turns of the year.
For Christmas Dinner we all met at the Park house for turkey dinner. Lots of kids, food, fun and champagne!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
