Life on that road is not always a bed of roses… and California always seems to extract more than it’s fair share. In less than 48 hours in the beautiful Oakland neighborhood of Montclair both of our bikes were stolen off the back of the van. The thieves had to cut 2 locks and forcibly release the rack. Nonetheless, sometime between 11pm and daylight, they pulled the heist successfully.
