Friday morning was forecast as the sunniest, warmest day of the week. Tim and I told work we were taking the afternoon off. It was time to surf. We left Tofino to explore nearby Ucluelet (aka Ukee) for the morning. Before we could play there was work to be done. Tim was collaborating with the [...] It’s been a busy week for today’s birthday boy, Kevin Frazier. Aside from all the jibes he received, you can see from the Washington Post article below that the situation was very intense for Battalion Chief Kevin Frazier and the Montgomery County Bomb Squad. They handled the situation perfectly and all hostages were safely released. [...] When we arrived to Tofino on Saturday afternoon, we had two things on our minds – Crabs and Waves. We parked the van and got on our bikes to explore the renowned “Capital of Canadian Surfing”. Tofino Harbor
It doesn’t take too long to see most of Tofino. Coffee shops, bakeries, [...] After Thursday night dinner with new friends Sarah and Ryan, Tim and I worked one last day in Bellingham and finally packed up Frank. We dined at the very tasty Mexican restaurant, Casa Que Pasa and then began our drive North. We figured late Friday evening was as good as any to cross the border. [...] |
