After 4 hours of sleep, we woke up to the bright sunlight of Park City. Tim got ready for skiing while I wrapped up a little work in Frank. I was finishing up my monthly hours and chatting with Ed when I accidentally let my battery run down. No big deal I thought. I would just let it charge back up and start working again. But this was different. Though it shouldn’t have happened, running down the battery seemed to ruin my motherboard. My computer won’t start…and for a computer consultant, that is a problem. So instead of skiing, my day was spent pricing out new computers and diagnosing my old one. Not an ideal start to the day.
But Tim made up for my rough start. He went out with Chico, Kevin, Mel and Georgia and enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at Park City. Once they got back from skiing, we all had a fantastic lasagna dinner compliments of Trish and went down to the live Michael Franti and Spearhead show on the Park City Main Street.
Chico works for Sprint who is a sponsor of the World Cup and we were able to get VIP seating for the show. We had great views, great food and complimentary drinks despite the packed house. Franti is a fantastic live show and he played his best songs. 5,000 people were jumping up and down in tune. Franti even played his newest hit, which brings a smile to my face even today. It’s been fun putting videos up this week so we’ll include this one too. Enjoy!
I’m SO sorry you had such a difficult computer day….and after very little sleep, it must have been even worse. Thanks, Tim, for the photo of a smiling Mary Lynn at the concert. That made me feel much better!

WOW – what a great song and video. I can’t stop singing it in my head! The ultimate feel good song which must have been incredible to see performed live.
