The windchill may be 5 degrees but we had a barbecue picnic at 3095 Mallard. Fresh coleslaw, crispy homemade fries, and barbecue chicken were all on the menu. We washed it down with Corona and white wine. We needed a little taste of summer!
It was a cold gray Monday during which Tim and I crammed 2 days of work into 1. We drive down to SLC on Wednesday for week of fun, so it’s head’s down business right now until we pack up Frank to go south. The snow is accumulating in Park City. We can’t wait to ski.
Since we’re working hard the next few days and having fewer adventures, I’ll share some additional videos from our past years at 429-apalooza. This one is from our frigid 0 degree night on the slopes of Deer Valley. It was the World Cup Aerials competition followed by AC/DC all girl cover band, Hell’s Bells. We were bundled up and still cold. We knew the girls on stage in short sleeves had to be freezing, but they put on a great show anyway! The guy in real pain is the one who gets dropped during his body surf through the crowd. At least he was already numb from the cold!
