Today we’re keeping the post short because we’ve got our 2008 wrapup immediately below. But we did want to take a quick moment to talk about the day.
It was a frigid -20 below when we woke up this morning, but that didn’t stop Tim from hiking up Glory. He climbed it in record time. I think he was trying to generate enough body heat to keep from freezing to death! Meanwhile I stayed working at home beside a crackling fire. Belle joined me for a time, but really preferred the crystal clear arctic air outside. She is in her element these days.
Tim arrived home just in time to watch the Heels’ first loss of the season. It wasn’t a high point of the day, but we both see the bright side. Now they’ve gotten a beating out of their system, they’ll be even more motivated to NEVER let it happen again this year. We’ve got money on it.
