Tim and I are back on the road. We’re heading back to the warmth of the desert for one last gasp of Summer. We’ll spend the next 4 nights in Fruita, CO. I can’t wait to see a new place and to kick back in some 70 degree weather. Tonight we’ll drive 4 hours to Flaming Gorge and setup camp. It will be long after dark when we arrive, but we’ll get a great sunrise over this beautiful reservoir on the Green River. Tomorrow we’ll have 5 more hours to Colorado; we’ll be there just in time for a afternoon bike ride. Then it’s off to town for Halloween, we hear they put on a good show! I am not yet sure what we’ll dress as. I understand Sarah Palin is the year’s big Halloween hit…I knew I should have brought my lipstick, red suit and rifle….and to top it off, Tim would make a funny McCain.
Before getting on the road tonight, Tim finished up a productive two days of meetings with VM. Strategy for 2009 is set. Now it’s time to execute. He’ll need to do some work in between bike rides this week. I wrapped things up with Factory IT for the week and said goodbye to Ed. I’ll keep working as well, but it will be on preparing tutorials for the new business. We’ll both stay busy, but as long as we’re in the warm sun, business will be great!
