Meetings Reunions and Homecomings

Chinatown..Pu Today marked the beginning of Vertical Media’s strategy meetings.  Tim has been preparing for them for weeks, it’s good to have them underway, but it was a brutally early start for us all after a very late, very fun night.

The meetings were a success and a tired Dan and Tim came home at 6.  I had been chatting with Rebecca and playing with the kids.   We were also joined by Ann’s friend, Joy, who is staying at the house for a few days before traveling down to Mexico.    She has a house there that she has turned into a cultural center for the small fishing village where it’s located.  There they teach English and art, though she plans to expand it further.  She’s invited us down, and come winter we may take her up on it!

Ann had also returned back from Toronto and we were glad to get a chance to catchup before we leave tomorrow for Fruita.  We’ll be coming back next Wednesday when Ann is going to be leaving, so tonight is all we had for the month of November.   It was a short family reunion but a very nice one.

We finished the night with a big banquet of Chinese food from Chinatown, one of the few open restaurants in Jackson, complements of Dan.  Now we have a fridge full of Chinese, sushi and Thai leftovers.  It’s quite the international collection.   We’ll eat well on our trip South!
