It was a meeting Monday for us all. Tim’s partners Bob and Dan came from Alpine and Bozeman, respectively, for a day of strategizing. Jimmie Shell was an Eastern Idaho road warrior, traveling 300 miles to Dubois, Rexburg, St. Anthony and Driggs for meetings with local telecom companies. I was in the office, finally [...] This morning we stirred in our sleep from the giggles of small children. That laughter belonged to Parker and Ann Holcomb as Jimmie Shell hoisted them up to our bed in Frank. In 10 seconds, we went from deep slumber to mayhem as a 6 year old and 4 year old brought us all [...] Today we woke up to the perfect autumn day. Tim, Jimmie and I packed up Frank for camping and headed north to the Buffalo Fork of the Snake. Jimmie had been craving some flyfishing and there is no better place in Jackson to go in the Fall. Christine is Tim’s Grandmother and the inspiration for this blog and we wanted to spend some time telling you about this fantastic lady. Nene was born on September 24th, 1914 in Kentuck, Virginia. She grew up in a big family of Bennetts and married Everett Wilkerson when she was [...] After weeks of bad news from the economy, today brought a glimmer of hope. Tim snapped a picture of the first diesel in Jackson under $4.00 in 6 months. I never thought I’d be so excited to see $3.96 for a gallon of gas. It brought back memories of the worst of our travels. It’s an age old question, one that we were able to answer today: just how far can a Thin Mint go? We’ll get back to that…. Today Tim and I slept in late. Wow, after a busy week, it felt great. Tom and Jenn left to attend the Jackson Hole Art Fair Quick Draw, [...] After an extremely busy week of work, it was time to unwind. At 4:30 pm, Tim and Chris Wolstenholme decided that the way to kick off the weekend was to longboard through town. Yesterday’s incredible longboard video inspired them both. While Redmond to Broadway in the relatively flat town of Jackson is no Claremont, [...] After two hard-at-work days, Tim and I had a very enjoyable night. We started the evening with a delicious dinner of lamb, bruised tomato salad and taboule compliments of Dan’s lamb and the Dinner Doctor. Wow it was good. I then rode my bike a mile to Zach’s house for a long needed catchup [...] Tonight’s title is an inspiration from Tim. Coffee Water Beer represents the daily cycle of life here in Jackson. We woke up to the smell of coffee this morning and it got us kick started. It was another busy day, with Tim having a repeat cup of joe during a meeting with Jonathan Schecter, Mike [...] This Tuesday was about new ideas and getting things done. It was a day of meetings for Tim, but he also got to spend time wrapping up Vertical Media’s newest site. Belle wakes to a beautiful Fall morning, full of good smells and sounds. People hop over her to get to the shower and to their coffee, but Belle rests and relaxes, waiting for the sound of food cascading into her bowl. After a fine [...] After being home exactly 5 days, Tim and I have already begun to hatch new travel adventures. We’ve updated our travel page to reflect our change in plans. September will now be a stay at home month. We are looking forward to seeing Vancouver, but I think it will have to be next spring. Instead [...] It was another gorgeous Jackson autumn day. It’s these types of days that remind us why we live in here. The temperature was 65, the air is crisp and light turns to gold as the sun creeps lower in the horizon. It would be a perfect day to head up to the Buffalo Fork [...] As Tim and I get back into the everyday business of being home, we’ve buried ourselves in work and new money making ventures.
