Tim and I woke up toasty warm in Frank as the sun rose over the Snow King ball field. We had danced long into the night and we were beat, but as the sun started to bake Frank we got moving.
Tim’s first project was to organize and post his photos from the wedding. He captured some classic moments from the day. You can check out the entire set here, but I had to post some of my favorites.
First, Parker, the best dressed man at the wedding (sorry Jack), had to make today’s post. Kim was gorgeous as well, so must be represented. And finally the finalist in the “most entertaining” category: Mike, a friend of Jack’s from Portland, was getting tossed around by 9 year old Adele.
Mike is an Aikido master and able to muster some epic flips, you’d never have known that he really wasn’t getting swung over the 40 lb Adele’s shoulder. Even the band paused to find out what was causing all the laughter!
My projects for the day entailed more studying. I’ve graduated from HTML to XHTML and moving towards CSS. I’m hoping to have my first legitimate web page up by the 15th.
I took a break to give Tim a hand washing the dust off Frank. It was a bluebird day and the weather inspired us to clean the Jeep as well. And let me tell you, it was no mean feat. In Tim’s 15 years of owning his Wrangler, he calculates that he has cleaned it…umm, NEVER. There was a decade of 4 wheeling dust and grime accumulated in every crack and crevice. Even after an hour of scrubbing, I settled for “not filthy” as being good enough. It’s definitely better than it was, but it may take a few more attempts before I’d actually dub it “clean”. Ah well, every little bit helps!

Correction: I recall giving the jeep a good thorough top to bottom, front to back scrubbing after one of our Hayden Expedition trips. Although that was in 1998….
