Today was the day of the dreaded meeting…Tim spent all day in productive but intensive task producing meetings. He estimated that his task list increased by 75% while his email inbox contents quadrupled over the course of the day. Tomorrow is going to be catchup time.
I, on the other hand, estimate that my day of troubleshooting had about a similar 75% success rate. I’ve got lots of “science projects” to tackle tomorrow, to make up for all the things that didn’t get figured out today. For a logical machine, sometimes computers don’t make any sense.
Fortunately our evening improved to 100%. Tonight we met with BJ, Lisa, Merilee and Wolste to continue to brainstorm Tower 3. Tower 3 Investments has gone through many interations through the last 2 years since Tim and I first came up with the idea. It began as a real estate venture capital fund, moved to a Craig’s list concept and has now evolved to its final state. As an investment group of 10 people coming together to pool their resources, we plan to take advantage of Jackson’s ever rising real estate market. We are in the last stages of planning and have 9 of the 10 folks committed. Once we are ready to go, we will make investments in rental properties in Teton Village and hopefully produce some retirement funds!
After our meeting, we came home to Belle and dinner. Belle got a serious brushing while Tim made one of our favorite dishes, Sylvia’s delicious chicken breasts dipped in a sour cream sauce and baked (350 calories for those who are counting…you know who you are….) We were both pretty beat and Tim spent time considering his picture of the day. He went to check out Flickr for inspiration and was flipping through photos when he discovered that his Grand Prismatic Spring photo which we posted here on February 25th had received 20,505 page views in the last 3 days! Incredible! Now that is exposure!
