In the midst of the busy-ness of our lives and the constant repeating crazy (I say crazy!) blizzard snow storms that have been raging through the West for the last few weeks, today was a day of calm. Eerie. The snow stopped and we saw a little sun today. It won’t let up! The forecast indicates more on the way. It’s undoubtedly the biggest snow year we’ve had in a decade and we’re only half way through the winter! You really have to see it to believe the depth of the snow pack. Has anyone read about what’s happening in China and their snow problems?
The day also was the break in our social week, however tomorrow we head for Park City and 429-a-palooza. It’s going to be a wild time of skiing and heap loads of fun! Chico, Weiser, and the rest of their entourage have been counting down the days and are now counting hours upon their arrival. Jimmy Hauschild has been shoveling the snow non stop to make sure everyone can get to the hot tub. He’s acting like a 12 year old waiting for Christmas. Excitement is building and swirling all around….
Today we cleaned up from last week of gatherings and are heading out for a nice quiet dinner out to enjoy the intriguing company of Jimmie on the eve of his last night in Jackson WY. It is a day to recoup and rest up – much needed before heading south to the incredible snow of Utah! They are truly blessed!

In a few hours I stop living vicariously through this blog… 429-A-Palooza 3.0 is upon us. Gas up Frank and point him South. Don’t forget to strap Pumkin to the roof!
Only 4.5 hour until its time to head to the Airport. Anticipation hit a frennzy yesterday with Frazier dropping over $1k at Ski Chalet…today was time to pack up and cross check!
Let the good times roll!
