We seem to be getting in the habit of the midweek sushi party! Tonight we finally caught up with our friends, Rhett and Emily, over a great meal of sushi. This time there were no dresses or wigs, just lots of laughs.
Rhett and Emily have recently arrived home from their honeymoon. They spent the last 3 months in at least half a dozen countries in Asia. Their trip included Japan, Bali, Cambodia and Thailand. Tonight was the first night we’d gotten a chance to really catch up with them. This picture is of one of the two terrific shirts they bought us for Christmas! It’s even more special knowing they carted them thousands of miles to bring them home!
Tonight we got a chance to hear some of their adventures and just reconnect. We made piles of sushi, drank champagne sake and had a wonderful time. It was a great Tuesday evening of friends!
